Vitally important pokerchips.com shipping lag time query

I've tried searching the past posts for this answer, but could not come up with a search query that helped...

Anyone that got custom chips from pokerchips.com in about the last nine months, how long was the lag time between billing and shipping? I seem to remember reading here about four weeks....

Cuz my card was billed last week, which might put them in ahead of schedule!!!!

From what I've read, you can expect about 16 weeks on custom orders:

If you order what they have in stock, it appears they are MUCH faster.

It took 10 days for my chips to arrive after the card was charged. I am the east coast.

Mine took a little over a month from billing to shipping. This however, was due to an internal miscommunication on their part. Which they corrected by giving me double the normal extras. So that was nice.

Interesting. Your post made me check my credit card and mine was charged also! I'm surprised because I wasn't expecting my chips until sometime in June. Maybe they are catching up on their orders!

Just out of curiousity, when did you place the order?

I placed my order sometime around January 27th and my artwork was finalized on February 25th. I got an email from PC.com saying I shouldn't have been charged for another week but that they are trying to get my order shipped to me by the end of the month. I was elated to hear this because I wasn't expecting to recieve my chips until Late May or early June.

I know it takes a long time to get chips but having to wait 3 months for my chips would kill me. Im sure it will all be worth it though once you get them.

For those who are interested,

I just got off the phone with Pokerchips.com. I placed an order for 500 blank clay spotted chips on February 14 (7.5 weeks ago). They said that my chips were "going into production" next week, and that I should have them in about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the replies. I called pokerchips.com, and I was told my chips had been shipped to Maine for finishing, and that they should ship out near the end of next week. That is about four weeks ahead of the schedule that I expected. I ordered around Jan 20th and finalized artwork on Feb 15th. I had believed I would actually get them around June 1.

I just received a notification from UPS that my chips should be delivered on May 5th!

I ordered my chips (500 clay spotted, roman mold, no inlay) on February 14. My card was charged on April 15. Still no chips, and no email indicating that they have been shipped either.

I called, and was told that there is a backup with Roman mold chips, so there has been a slight delay, but that my chips should ship by this Firday (May 6). Assuming that is the case, and I get them at some point next week, the total wait time will be a little over 12 weeks.
