Weird rule question ...
This will probably never happen in real life, but I'm sure there is a rule about it :
Single table SNG, first 3 cash.
First hand every one go AI. One player win it all.
Who get 2nd and 3rd prize?

Happened in my MTT 2 weeks ago. The person who lost, but had the most chips prior to the final hand gets 2nd and the other 3rd. As was the case in the tourney in which I played, 3rd & 4th went out at on the same hand with the same number of chips. Therefore, 3rd & 4th payouts were put together then split evenly for both players.

Ohhh, sorry missed that part. I'm really not sure.
If you see this, please denote all of the players involved and send me a list.

I imagine that falls under the, "it's not going to happen, so let's not make a rule" category.
But, if it were to happen, the 2nd & 3rd place prize money would be pooled and split between the nine people who tied for second.

Hello ----,
Thank you for your email.
In this situation you describe, the players that were eliminated on the
hand would split the prize money evenly.
Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Is that a made up email??
So let's see - 9-man $100 SnG on Stars paid $450/$270/$180
Everyone goes all-in and one guy wins. He gets $450 and the rest get $56.25 each. Not good. If you were the player to the right of the original all-in guy, you could fold and guarantee $270. That is a +EV play.
