Well, I'm Alive.

Postby Nugzy » Mon May 02, 2005 6:08 pm GMT

Well everyone, I am still alive. I opted not to get major surgery. Instead, I got a smaller procedure done. The only problem is, its not guaranteed to solve the problem. If the proplem persists, I dont have a choice but to get the major surgery. I am still in an incredible amount of pain, but pain medicine helps that a bit.

I would like to say "Thank You" to all those who sent kind words in my email and who posted on the Paulson thread. It really did mean alot.

I would also like to "Im Sorry" for the way things went with the group buy. I truly did not expect FedEx to f*ck up like that, and can honestly say I will never ship anything though them. Because of all the hassle, I didnt get as many chips for myself as I wanted (I only wanted 500) but those that I did get I may have to sell temporarily to cover bills (I missed alot of work because of my health).

With all that said, I am now going to go post in some other threads.

MODS: Please dont delete the thread because its "off-topic", just let it die.

Good to hear you're alive. I hope it won't get any worse with the current temporary fix.

Hey Nugzy,
Man, I'm sorry to hear this. I'm just glad to hear you're ok. Again, I cant stress enough how much I appreciate your time and effort in the group buy. Do reassure yourself that you've made alot of new paulson chip owners very happy, including me. Good luck on your surgery. I hope for the best.

Thanks for the update, Nugzy, I'm glad you made it thru the hospital stay (I hate hospitals)--opting for the smaller procedure was probably a good choice. I hope you continue to get better, but enjoy those meds while you can! I still haven't gotten to play with the chips yet (at least in a real game--I've tried a little poker "solitaire", how pathetic ), but my next poker night is next week, and I can't wait! Thanks again for doing the group buy--I've got the top-notch chips I've always wanted, and you also saved my wife from having to figure out my 40th birthday gift! Take care.
