What do they do with WSOP chips after a tournament?

Postby Hank » Wed Jul 13, 2005 2:58 pm GMT

Do they use them the next year or do they play with a fresh set every year? Of course if they retire them, do they sell them somewhere? Wouldn’t that be cool to have a set of chips that may have been handled by some the greatest players in poker?

Great question..... unfortunately i have no idea, but still a great question.

I would surmise that they retire them somehow?
