What is a good budget?
I was curious about what other people think is a good budget for poker. In online Zyanga Poker I play 75 times the max buy in. Is this too conservative? I was thinking about 40 times max buy in or 20, but I don't really know if that is too risky or not. Pretending I had a 52% chance of winning money at a poker table, what would be my chances of loosing all my money over time, based on the different budgets I would use. For example: If I had $3,500,000 and I played at a table with a $40,000 max buy in with $200 as the big blind what is the chance of me loosing all my money. Also include the fact that as I loose money I also lower the stakes of the table to the next lowest level. So as soon as I go below (40,000*75) = $3,000,000 dollers I go down at a less risky table. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
I believe the reason why people probably loose money in poker is the lack of a good budget with their money. For instance someone playing at the max with all their money every time is going to loose in the long run. I want to know the odds behind a budget that is risky enough to make money, but not too risky where I'm likely to loose all my money.

Its a balancing act, as you find the sweet spot between risk and reward.
