What's does SNG stand for?

Postby Johnny T » Thu Aug 12, 2004 3:43 pm GMT

I know this is probably an incredibly stupid question but what does SNG stand for? I guessed at Standard No limit Game ? ??

I may be as thick as a whale omelette but every day I get a little better! :D

THey are small tournaments you can pay money to play. Sit and go.

For example the 5$+.50cents(for the pokersite) sng.

9 peopletourney on pokerstars. 1st place pays 50%, 2nd place 30, 3rd place 20%. The other six dont get anything

Haha, I guess we asked the same question at the same time...

I don't believe in coincidence though...

Thanks for the answers folks.

In that case I've played one of these. I played an online SNG at paradise poker. It was $5 + $1 to play and I came third. I was absolutely over the moon. I think I won about $12.
