What's your net loss/gain?
I've been playing online for about three weeks now, and so far I'm about even. I feel good about it considering I've never played any poker before I started. I win some, I lose some. It's fun, I'm learning a lot, and so far I haven't spent anything but the original deposit I made.
For those of you who have been playing longer, when you put it all together how much have you've donated (read: lost) to online poker, or how much have you've gained?
Have any of you won or come close to winning a WPT or WSOP satellite?

I am on a cold spell-but I am still just under $30/hour for the last year. So up about $10K for the year. Unfortunately-it all went to home improvements and bills-so the bankroll is still under $1000.
I havent played a WSOP or WPT satalite, but I did finish 24 and needed to be 22 for a $1000 seat in the $125K Gaur Fall Poker Classic at Canterbury in MN.

I started playing Holdem online in September 2003. At that time my only experience with Holdem was watching the WPT and WSOP. Never really played anything other than draw poker prior to this.
I started w/ play money for about 4 weeks and finally decided to hit the $1-2 real-money limit tables with a $50.00 initial deposit. Well, I lost it in about 2 hours! Then I deposited another $50.00 and lost it the following day!
Went out and bought a book on Holdem and started reading. I also started reading online forums and tips on game play and strategy. After a few days off I decided I would deposit another $100.00 and play as tight as possible. Well, after a couple weeks I was up to about $600.00 playing $1-2 limit tables. I cashed out my initial $200.00 so my entire bankroll was made up of winnings. I have not redeposited money since then.
To make a long story short...It's been about 5 months now that I've been playing for real money and I'm up approximately $3,500.00. I have read numerous books on Holdem and am ALWAYS studying the game. I have played everything from $1-2 to $10-20 limit (usually 2-4 or 3-6) but now I play $50 NLHE and $100 NLHE almost exclusively.
I usually put in about 15 hours per week at the tables.

For a change of pace, I'm even as I haven't put real money up yet. In fact, i think it might remain that way as I don't think my personality fits with poker. I get a little too upset over bad beats.

I initially deposited $50 on january 2nd, lost it all in ring games in about a day, took a days break then deposited a further $50 lost it in about 2 days, deposited $100, decided to try something different cos i knew i couldn't afford to play more than micro limit and was losing at that, started playing $10 2 table sit & go's, won my very 1st !!! :D
so obviously i was hooked on those! built my roll up to over $300 and decided to try some $11+ rebuys and $20 multi table tourneys see if i could win a "substantial" amount, got my ass handed to me.
went back to sit & go's, hit a bad spell, worked my way down to about $15 left.
played my "last ever" sit & go and finished 2nd (winning $50something) and haven't looked back since.
Now i play exclusively sit & go's $10/$20/$30 entries and make something between $10-$150 each day (usually only get time to play 2 per day)
i still have my bad days/coupleadays but have built my roll up to about $800 now and am using the site as a bank until (if) i get up enough to blow in a BIG way!
have never actually read a poker book but i have "studied" the game for a few years now, watching the pro's at work/forums/stuff like that, if you read this forum start to finish you never need to buy a book

Started with $50 deposit 5 months ago. Have cashed out $2100 online. Most of it comes from Multi Table Tournaments.
