What shall I give my best men?
I'm getting married in early January, and was thinking about getting my four groomsmen (we often play poker together) something poker related for being there to get me through the day!
Any suggestions?
- personalised poker chips (but at $1 each it might get a little expensive to buy them all a set!)
- one of those anodised dealer buttons?
- personalised playing cards (is there such a thing!?)
- anything else?
What would you get for your groomsmen?
Grateful for any tips and suggestions.
Cheers and beers

You can get chips with initials hot stamped in. I think they’re about 60c each so a little cheaper than the custom design ones, although still pretty pricey :\
Can you get card suit cufflinks? I.e. One of you has spades, one of you has diamonds etc...since there’s 4 of you. Then after the service let them keep them as gifts.
But I guess you’re after something more practical.
Umm...a solid silver chip with some kind of engraving they can put on their stack for luck.
Okay, I don’t know, I got nothin’ here.
By the way congratulations mate and good luck.

Hi there guys. My budget is up to USD$80 pp (for something really good!). I like the idea of a silver poker chip with some sort of engraving ... any idea where I can get one of those?
Any other ideas? Thanks for your suggestions! Keep 'em coming!
Cheers and beers, hurmeez

The Faux Clay chips: http://www.5stardeal.com/expand.asp?pid=9094&subcat=116
500 @ .06 cents each = $30
Get a $20 case and your at $50 per person.
I'm not sure if they will hot stamp these chips, but there are plenty of others on there. Hot stamping is .05 cents / chip.
Another idea -- When one of my friends got married, he got the guys flasks with their names engraved.

That engraved "card protector" is a great idea - I would be pretty happy with one of those. I do recall that store "Things Remembered" - they used to be in all the malls - it's been a while since I have been to a mall - had a paper weight that would work. They certainly engrave and you could have their initials put in. Or just get one of the nice protectors on Ebay and have them engrave the rolling edge or something like that.

Guys - great ideas, many thanks! Any tips on where I can find some whiz-bang flash chip protectors?
What about personalised playing cards - ie playing cards that have a whole bunch of great photos of my different groomsmen from the past.
Anyone got an idea how much it might cost to get a series of photos on some playing cards?
Thanks for your tips - please keep 'em coming!
Cheers and beers
Brian

Engravable card guards:
http://www.pokerguard.com/custom.php
About $30 each + shipping. Not bad. I got one for the hubby for his birthday last year and it turned out nicely.
