Where is the best place to get poker Table "Speed"

There may or may not be a forum here for poker tables, but I didn't see one in the list. Go a head and move this post where ever it is better suited if this is not a very good place...

Anyways, on with the question. I'm looking in to building my own set of oval Hold'em Tables. I drew up the blue prints know exactly what I need and know where to get most of the hardware. how ever the one thing i need the most I am having trouble finding a source for. you see you standard rut of the mill felt is not a very good cover for a Poker table. From my previous exserence from building one of my prototypes has shown me that this stuff brakes down after just one very active use. and can really only survive about three long sessions of play before it it totaly FUBAR.

I've seen other poker tables and noticed that they have another kind of cloth entirely. kinda fuzzy too, I like fuzzy... Wait where was I... oh yeah, I've been looking for the stuff and have detirmined that this fabric is called speed cloth. but every where I on the net is either bogus online poker room promotions sites or they have it but how the hell do i choose my color. I also need a good source of vinal for the rails. my prototypes are made of denium. feels cool like a confy pair of jeans and all but vinal would be far better.

So if any one knows where I can get a decent color selection of this fabric for a fairly good. please let me know Via Email...

I'm making a fairly big order for four tables to be covered. oh and my tables are not for sell, but i'm sure i can be convinced to building a table for 25% over cost. all you really have to do is send for the matirials and and a little extra and I'll get on with building a table.

if you find speed cloth in any color other than green let me know. The only place I've seen another color is kardwell.com and they just have 2 colors. As for the vinal i think it would be best to buy that locally. Any fabric store should have a nice selection of vinals.

if you want different colored cloth and don't mind paying buy 21oz pool table felt, it comes in like 8 colors. Or go to your fabric store and feel a lot of different cloths till you find one you like (velveteen feels about right)

Is there a large Mormon Holdem' following out there.

Just because I live and work in Utah, Does not make me a mormon, nor does being a mormon mean your a sick fu--er with like twenty wives from a collection of sisters, cousens and daughters... How ever, I'm sure there are a few here in the mormon mofia do spend hour of time at a hold'em table of one form or another. like during Famly home evening, or church poker night at their temple, or what not.

I wouldn't know, I have renounced my Membership to the church long time ago when i found god at the edge of a lake surrounded by peace in nature pulling fish from the water and eating the ones I kept. not in a stuffy builting in the middle of a town with fu--ers who only go to church because they are playing on the "See, I'm a mormon too..." angle, I have alot of issues with the church, and I'm sure it shows...

You know what, Last night I played some poker with my perents Bishop, And was completely shocked because of your post. I ask him if there where many others in the church who played poker, as it turns out, you may be right. although not as big as one might think, there are a few mormons who do have a game going on here in utah. From now on I will refurre to this as "The Mormon Hold'em Ring" which by the way I am invited to. Guess I'll have to settle for Sprite/root beer rather then rolling rocks.
