where to play freerolls?

Postby BrianGre » Sat Feb 07, 2004 8:38 am GMT

Hi all,

What're the most common sites where you play freerolls? I normally am a UB patron, but they don't offer Freerolls that I have seen. You can use your UB points if you accumulate enough, though.

thanks
Brian

UB have 2 freerolls a week at 4am EST on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Nasty timing, I think they are for ppl like me where it's 9am local time!

:) yes, that is unfortunate timing for me, although i'm sure it's necessary for the global community. believe it or not I appreciate the fact that they do that..

Thanks, ScanX for the PokerStars pointer... I'll check it out.

I know that PokerRoom has two a day at 9am and 3pm EST; anyone know what the normal payout is on these?

the pokerroom freerolls don't directly pay you cash. You have to deposit and then play raked hands to unlock the freeroll prize.

Hmmm...freerolls...unlimited entries at Paradise Poker, tough because you are competing against like 3K other people.

Also JetSetPoker and Royal Vegas or 7 Sultans have good freerolls that are limited to 3+500 entries. You have to be there right when they start registerting to get in though.

Dynamite Poker has some freerolls in the mornings that pay in cash and tournement points with around 150 players. It is not a big site and I don't trust it enough to deposit any money-I've seen some strange draw outs there and it seems way too small.
I'll play there mainly for some tourney practice.
Has anyone else tried Dynamite and what are your feelings about it?

I had the same problem at UB. Who plays at that hour? TournamentNetwork.com has freerolls three times a week, and not at stupid hours. Monday at 10pm, Wednesday at 6pm and Saturday at 2pm EST. They have a $300 Guaranteed real money Prize Pool. I won third a few weeks ago and they did pay out, so it isn't a scam. Might be worth a look.

www.goldenpalace.com

Tons of Freerolls!!!! You must have action points (similar to UB points). They, however, have single table "GIVEAWAY" tournements where .10 is given away. If you are really cheap win about $1 from the giveaways and play some real money single table tourneys to accumulate points. That way you can play the freerolls. About once a week they have a suprise freeroll that is over 500 prize pool with no action points to play, but you have to be online to catch them because they just pop-up.
