Which hand is better?

Ok i was playing a home game. I got dealt pocket tens. i raise. sb reraises in to me i call. flop is 3,6,3. i bet he calls. Turn card is another 3. i have a full house. i bet he calls. River card is a jack. i chaeck he bets i reraise. i show 10,10,3,3,3 fullhouse. He shows pocket sixes for 6,6,6,3,3 fullhouse. Who had the better hand and why.

he did, because his trips is higher him having 66633 and you having 333TT

If it's not clear the higher of the trips wins, if that is the same the higher of the pairs wins. If they are both the same it's a split.

6-6-6-3-3 beats 3-3-3-10-10

I thought so. He is still new to holdem and said that i had the better hand but i play enough and watch enough to know he had the better hand. Thanks for the replys.
