Withdrawing winnings from online poker site accounts?

Playing online poker from the UK and signing up with a site just how easy is it to withdraw various amounts of your own winnings, if you are good enough to be winning regularly that is? I have a bank account and VISA debit cards but do you really have to be on online banking as well? or do they send cheques? Just asking in advance of playing for the first time, any advice appreciated.

Depends on the site you play on, but no you don't need to have online banking to deposit and withdraw. You just enter your card details and then can usually withdraw back onto the card. You can also get cheques sent as well, but they take longer to process and it's really easier to just withdraw back onto your card.
