Would You Call?
Saw this on TV.
Villain 1: 45 diamonds.
Villain 2: Qh Ad
Flop: Jd 7d 2d
Villain 2 shoves all in and openly reveals "I don't have a flush yet" indicating he has one diamond.
To call means all his chips are in. And it's early in the tourney.
We all know the odds but would you call with 45 diamonds?

This is so situational and opponent-dependent on whether you think he is being honest or just blowing smoke. I will say, though, if you're going to lay down a made flush on the flop, you're probably too much of a nit and should pretty much never play 54s.

If I knew his second card, and that he didn't have a flush, I would call instantly. You would have to be an idiot not to call if you know he has ONLY the naked [Ad].
