this range doesnt look very realistic
he is a reg who plays 200NL.
hes not reraising the river with a lone A for value.... and how are QQ+ in there? why would he shove QQ or KK? no raise preflop?
imo if hes shoving for value he has me beat, or its a bluff. and how often are 3bet shoves on the river bluffs? if it was some unknown i woulda insta called of course. though i overlooked 55 and 44 really, he could definitely valueshove those. but i doubt he checkcalls those on flop

You folded a boat HU?
Like I would have said to someone at a poker table telling me this story:
"That's...impressive."

To all those who pokerstove everything. I beleive it was Doyle who said "Good poker players play their cards (i.e. their opponent),and poor ones let the cards play them."
I remember him going on to say something like these same poor players are the ones that might say something like "I know im beat , I have 3 aces so I HAVE to call."

You really don't see the difference between pokerstoving effective ranges vs. not understanding relative hand strengths? Aren't they like.. opposites?
I understand sometimes you can be "100%" sure of a certain thing, making your read skew the % of time your opponent may have those specific hand combinations, but that just makes us adjust our pokerstove calcs, not scrap them all together. You're still figuring out ranges, not specific cards, you're just increasing the probability of a certain specific hand because of a physical tell, personal history, etc.

I would have felt sorry for the poor ones who played against Doyle and Chip with marked decks and bent dealers tbh.
