WPT Format Change?

It seems to me that the WPT changed its format slightly this year and was wondering if anyone else noticed this. (I'm to lazy to watch sample episodes to see.)

It seems that they are showing a greater proportion of the show with more players. I seem to recall that in earlier seasons they started busting out players pretty early in the show (or showing the hands where they busted out) and that the bust outs came pretty evenly spaced throughout the show. This season it seems that there are many more hands shown before there are a large number of bust outs (if any) and then the bust out hands come much more quickly in the last hour of the show.

Also, did they have a Paris show this season? I miss my brown-haired Paris dealer.

[Edit:]I just went to the WorldPokerTour web site and they did NOT have a Paris stop this year. I am really bummed.[\Edit]

if you mean season 5 that just finished airing, there was a stop in paris. There apparently will not be a stop for season 6 and maybe even for future seasons as of now. the FT was
