WPT Foxwoods Last Night (5/23)
If anyone saw this last night, I think it provides a great example of how to misplay a big stack in E.G. Harvin. He limped in too frequently and allowed good players (ie Nenad Medic) to see flops and generally outplay him with smaller stacks. Also, on several occasions, he bluffed with almost no outs to win, frequently when there wasn't that much money to go after--it was the typical amateur "just because" bluff attempt. Not ragging on the guy, because he seemed pretty nice, but I think some of his plays were not well thought out.
Normally I don't think WPT televised events are very good these days, but there was actually a decent amount of play at that final table, and good examples of what to do (Nenad Medic) and what not to do (EG Harvin and Mimi Tran... who came off looking much worse than she actually is, partly because of a misunderstanding of what Barry Greenstein was advising her to do).
