Kicker

In the following hand, the King, 6, and 4 are the kickers (in that order for most poker games - highest to lowest). Should another player in this hand also have a pair of Tens, the kickers would then decide who wins the hand. For example, if another players highest kicker was a Queen, we would win with our King. If the other players highest kicker was also a King, you would then look at the second highest kicker, etc..
