Payout Chop Calculator
This calculator is intended to be used when all remaining players in a tournament decide that they would like to split (or "chop") the remaining prize pool. In particular, the last two players often decide to split the money rather than follow the regular tournament prize structure because the blinds sometimes get so large that the remaining contest is often a crapshoot. Sometimes players will split the money equally, but they may opt to proportionally split the money if there is a disparity in chipcounts. This is done by giving each remaining player money equal to the place about to be eliminated, then proportionally dividing the remaining money among all players according to their chipcounts.
