Nicknamed "Action Dan" because of his extremely tight play, Dan played chess and backgammon at the legendary Mayfair Club in the 80's. He final tabled at the '03 and '04 WSOP main event, a feat which some say will never be repeated. Dan is a former bankruptcy lawyer who now dabbles in real estate and the stock market. Most notably, Dan co-wrote "Harrington on Holdem" with Bill Robertie. This two volume set has been highly regarded as the best writing on holdem tournament play.
