Moved to the United States from Lebanon at the age of 19 and studied mechanical engineering. Freddy dropped out with 12 credits left to go to pursue professional poker. He is now considered a regular at the high-limit game at the Bellagio. Freddy is also known for wearing his lucky shirt or "magic shirt" that was made famous during a televised hand with Phil Ivey during the 2003 WSOP.
