Poker Hall of Fame

At Binion's Horseshoe, the original home of the World Series of Poker, is the Poker Hall of Fame. Since 1979, a new Hall of Famer is selected each year (with exceptions) to join the ranks of the poker elite. The few strict and straightforward guidelines to be in this circle of poker nobility are as follows:

  • The player has played poker against acknowledged top competition
  • The player has succeeded in high stakes games
  • The player has been playing consistently well
  • The player has gained the respect of peers
  • The player has stood the test of time
